In 2003, as one of five writers from the South West, David was commissioned by South West Screen and the UK Film Council to produce a full length treatment of his live-action feature project – ‘HELLO, GOODBYE’ for their ‘ScriptEd’ Competition. This treatment was then selected as one of eight projects to be further developed on a NFTS Feature Development Workshop. Earlier in 2002 David wrote and developed the 10-minute live-action film script ‘BLIND MAN’S BLUFF’ at a Cre8 Studios (Swindon) Screenwriting Workshop.
